Appliance Tech - Boston Metro Area - Great Pay & Benefits

 We are looking for 2-3 experienced appliance repair technicians in Boston Metro area. We are a Whirlpool exclusive service provider and only work on Whirlpool manufactured brands. No other brands. Diamond operates in Chicago, St. Louis, Kansas City, Milwaukee, SW Michigan, and Boston Metro. We have 100+ technicians and are excited to established in the Greater Boston Area. Refrigeration experience is a plus and we also pay more for that experience. 
 
We do not micro-manage our techs, so we are looking for self-motivated individuals, If you have a knack for troubleshooting, and are able to manage time to effectively meet deadlines. Ideally, you have proven communication skills with supervisors, employees, and customers. Our ownership group has vast appliance service experience and were previous techs. We understand what techs need and want.
  • Needs to be personable and able to work with customers in their home.
  • Technical background and aptitude. Know how to read wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
  • Ability to learn new skills.
  • Self-starter and good work ethic is a must.
  • Must pass background, driving and drug screening.
Specific Responsibilities:
  • Accurately diagnose and repair appliances/equipment in the customer's home
  • Provide cost estimates for repairs/installations and collect payment and/or payment information from customers for work performed
  • Ensure the efficient use of materials and keep company vehicle and equipment properly serviced
  • Complete invoices, daily route sheets, and weekly reports as required
  • Perform other duties as needed which may include cross-training in related positions
Job Requirements:
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean record
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Proficiency to navigate tablet-based technology
  • The ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds on a repetitive basis
  • Flexible and variable hours. Weekends are not mandatory
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
 
EXPERIENCED TECHNICIAN
 

  • $26 to $32hr plus incentives based upon revenue generated. 
  • Potential for an experienced tech is $60,000 to $90,000.
